Grecia, <\/span>Israele <\/span>e Cipro hanno firmato ieri ad Atene l’accordo per il gasdotto EastMed che trasporter\u00e0 in Europa il gas naturale dei giacimenti nel Mediterraneo orientale. <\/span><\/p>\n

“Questa \u00e8 una giornata storica per lo stato di <\/span>Israele<\/span>! Dopo dieci anni di lotta, siamo riusciti a trasformare lo Stato di <\/span>Israele i<\/span>n una potenza mondiale nell’esportazione del gas”. E’ quanto ha scritto su Twitter il primo ministro dello Stato ebraico, Benjamin Netanyahu. “L’accordo firmato oggi”, ha commentato Netanyahu, “\u00e8 di importanza politica ed economica: centinaia di miliardi di shekel da investire nella nostra Sanit\u00e0, Istruzione e Sicurezza per i cittadini”, ha aggiunto Netanyahu, facendo riferimento al possibile utilizzo delle risorse legate all’accordo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lungo 1,872 chilometri, <\/span>Eastmed <\/span>permettera’ di far arrivare in Grecia il gas estratto dalle riserve offshore di Cipro e <\/span>Israele<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il prossimo passo sar\u00e0 indire il bando per gli investitori privati. Secondo <\/span>Israele <\/span>il progetto potr\u00e0 essere operativo nel 2025. Un successivo gasdotto potr\u00e0 poi raggiungere l’Italia, in un progetto che \u00e8 sostenuto da Unione Europea e Stati Uniti per ridurre la dipendenza energetica europea dalla Russia. Al gasdotto si oppone la Turchia, che dichiara di non voler permettere un simile progetto nel Mediterraneo orientale senza la sua partecipazione. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
