Mostrato in anteprima al Festival di Cannes, \u00e8 considerato uno dei possibili vincitori della Palma d\u2019Oro di quest\u2019anno.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Primo lungometraggio in lingua non inglese per Glazer, \u201cThe Zone of Interest\u201d \u00e8 ispirato al romanzo omonimo di Martin Amis del 2014, dalla cui base narrativa \u00e8 nata questa pellicola, che mostra con una prospettiva inedita e apparentemente asettica e sterilizzata, le atrocit\u00e0 della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Secondo la BBC, Glazer, \u201cha realizzato un film sulla Shoah come nessun altro &#8211; non descrivendo gli orrori subiti nei campi di sterminio, ma escludendoli&#8221;. Infatti, per oltre 100 minuti non si vedranno mai le atrocit\u00e0 che avvenivano ad Auschwitz, solo i rumori ci lasciano cosa sta accadendo accanto a noi: il ronzio costante dei forni in funzione, l&#8217;arrivo dei treni, le grida delle guardie o dei prigionieri, gli spari.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;\"><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; white-space: pre-wrap;\">In un\u2019intervista al Corriere della Sera, il regista britannico si \u00e8 soffermato su un particolare dettaglio, la coesistenza tra due estremi: l\u2019oasi idilliaca della villa degli H\u00f6ss e il campo di sterminio di Auschwitz a pochi passi da loro. \u201cL\u2019orrore \u00e8 un rumore di fondo, mentre H\u00f6ss e sua moglie, a pochi metri, prendono il caff\u00e8, impermeabili alle atrocit\u00e0\u201d.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;\"><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; white-space: pre-wrap;\">L\u2019ambientazione, volutamente moderna, rende questo film unico nel suo genere. \u201cSembra una storia del XXI secolo. &#8211; ha spiegato &#8211; La sfida era quella di mantenere autenticit\u00e0, coniugare la verit\u00e0 e la contemporaneit\u00e0. C\u2019\u00e8 un\u2019immersione nel tempo presente. Diversi analisti sostengono che l\u2019Olocausto non torner\u00e0 pi\u00f9, io non ne sono cos\u00ec sicuro\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height:1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;\"><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; white-space: pre-wrap;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; white-space: pre-wrap;\">\u201cQuesta storia ci riguarda, la cosa che pi\u00f9 spaventa \u00e8 che potremmo essere come quei due. La possibilit\u00e0 che persone normali possano diventare dei mostri \u00e8 nella natura umana\u201d ha aggiunto il regista.
